My Story
I grew up in the Caribbean town of Barranquilla, a sandy, vibrant city in northern Colombia where everyday life is weaved in color, music and storytelling. In my childhood and youth years I was fortunate to attend public schools and serve communities of diverse backgrounds as an educator and church volunteer. This is how I met my husband Ryan and eventually moved to Canada in 2008.
Living in this new land and becoming a mother has allowed me to explore new ways to grow and share the threads of imagination and creativity through portraits, illustrations and creative workshops. On a typical day, I love spending time creating and loving my family; pet lizard and plants included!
